Designed for young professionals who want to be trained in ministry leadership. Led by Pastors Rich and DawnCheré Wilkerson, this fully immersive experience will equip and empower you to lead and operate at a high capacity in ministry and the marketplace.VOUS College has partnered with Southeastern University to offer multiple accredited degree programs for students pursuing a degree while gaining hands-on leadership and ministry experience.

Taught by VOUS staff and Southeastern University professors, you will have the opportunity to engage in weekly leadership and theology-based courses. These courses are designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the local church, while supporting your spiritual formation.

Curriculum

Weekly Experiences

Life at VOUS College is shaped by more than what happens in the classroom. Our weekly experiences combined with your classes are designed to cultivate growth, community, and spiritual formation in every student.

Chapel

Chapels are the heartbeat of VOUS College — this is an optional weekly space for worship, prayer, and spiritual formation. Together, we gather to encounter God’s presence, grow in unity, and strengthen our calling as leaders.

Hermeneutics & Exegesis

This course equips students with the tools to study, interpret, and apply Scripture with accuracy and depth. Students will learn how to understand biblical context, analyze literary structure, and uncover the timeless truths of God’s Word — developing a foundation for teaching, preaching, and living Scripture with clarity and conviction.

Apologetics & Evangelism

This course equips students to communicate and defend the gospel with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Through the study of Scripture, theology, and cultural engagement, students learn how to answer hard questions, bridge belief and skepticism, and share the hope of Jesus in a way that resonates with today’s world. Emphasizing both intellect and empathy, this course forms leaders who speak truth with grace and live out the message they proclaim.

Spiritual Emphasis Week with Doctor Allen Tennison

Spiritual Emphasis Week is a deep theology intensive led by Dr. Allen Tennison, created to strengthen spiritual formation and biblical understanding. Through rich teaching, discussion, and reflection, students are equipped to build a strong theological foundation that fuels both faith and leadership.
